Privacy Policy

Hangul Boom does not collect personal information. There are no accounts, no logins and no servers, and no ads or analytics tools.
What stays on your device
To let you pick up where you left off, the app keeps the following in its local storage (localStorage) on this device only. It is never sent anywhere.

You can erase it with "Reset progress" in Settings, and deleting the app removes everything.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions: no location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or notifications. Haptic feedback uses the device's vibration and needs no permission.
Internet
The app sends no requests over the internet while running. Pronunciation recordings, fonts and pictures are all bundled in the app, so it works in airplane mode. The recordings were generated in advance with Google Cloud Text-to-Speech; nothing you do in the app is sent to Google.
When you open this page in a web browser, the hosting provider that serves it may keep standard access logs (such as IP address).
What we don't do
- Tracking across other apps or websites
- Selling or sharing data for advertising
- Collecting personal information from anyone, including children
Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays until you reset it in Settings or delete the app. We hold no copy, so we have nothing to keep or delete on our side.
Processors and transfers abroad
The app itself entrusts no personal information to anyone and transfers none abroad. This page is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), and access logs created when you open it in a browser (such as IP address) are processed on Vercel's infrastructure in the US and elsewhere.
Your rights
Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. You control everything on your device through Settings or by deleting the app. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.

한글붐은 개인정보를 수집하지 않는다. 계정·로그인·서버가 없고, 광고·분석 도구도 넣지 않았다.
기기 안에만 저장하는 것
학습을 이어 하기 위해 아래 값을 이 기기의 앱 저장소(localStorage)에만 둔다. 밖으로 보내지 않는다.

설정 화면의 「Reset progress」로 지울 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 전부 지워진다.
권한
위치, 카메라, 마이크, 사진, 연락처, 알림 등 어떤 권한도 요청하지 않는다. 진동 피드백은 기기 진동을 쓰며 권한이 필요 없다.
인터넷 연결
앱은 실행 중에 인터넷으로 요청을 보내지 않는다. 발음 녹음, 글꼴, 그림은 모두 앱에 들어 있어 비행기 모드에서도 동작한다. 녹음은 Google Cloud Text-to-Speech 로 미리 만들어 둔 것이고, 앱 사용 내용이 Google 로 가지 않는다.
웹 브라우저로 이 페이지를 열 때는 페이지를 내려 주는 호스팅 업체가 일반적인 접속 기록(IP 주소 등)을 남길 수 있다.
하지 않는 것
- 다른 앱·웹사이트를 넘나드는 추적
- 광고를 위한 데이터 판매·공유
- 아동을 포함한 어떤 사용자의 개인정보 수집
보유 기간과 파기
기기 안의 값은 설정에서 지우거나 앱을 삭제할 때까지 남는다. 우리 쪽에는 사본이 없어 따로 보관하거나 파기할 것이 없다.
처리 위탁과 국외 이전
앱 자체는 개인정보를 맡기거나 국외로 옮기지 않는다. 다만 이 페이지는 Vercel Inc.(미국)가 호스팅하고, 웹 브라우저로 열 때 생기는 접속 기록(IP 주소 등)은 미국 등 Vercel 인프라에서 처리된다.
이용자의 권리
수집하는 정보가 없어 우리가 열람·정정·삭제해 줄 대상도 없다. 기기 안의 값은 설정이나 앱 삭제로 직접 지울 수 있다. 궁금한 점은 아래 주소로 문의할 수 있다.
